As UK Chair, Chris sits across both the Creative Group and Media Group halves of the businesses. Chris’ appointment as UK Group and Europe CEO, follows a successful 12 years at Grey London. During his 6 years as CEO at Grey he transformed the agency into the fastest growing (doubling its size) and most creatively awarded in the UK advertising market. As well as winning IPA agency of the year.

Originally a planner, Chris has built his reputation on outstanding account management, first at BBH and later at Fallon, working on a range of brands from Skoda to the BBC.

Chris is a regular speaker at industry forums and commentator in national press including BBC News, The Politics Show, Evening Standard, FT and Sky News. He is the current Chairman of the IPA Effectiveness Leadership Group, holds a seat on the council of the Creative Industries Federation and the IPA Council, and is a member of the Royal Society of Arts and a trustee of the MOBO Foundation.

Mark has been the CCO of Havas London for the past three years leading the creative direction on our global digital account for Dove, Chinese mobile technology giant Huawei, Reckitt Benkiser and Credit Suisse.

Prior to this, Mark very successfully founded the ground-breaking creative agency Cake, who were acquired by Havas in 2008. There he grew the agency to become world famous for its innovative approach to brand marketing and communications which have become common practice today. Cake were also pioneers in entertainment partnerships, pushing the boundaries of traditional “badge” sponsorships – for example the Carling Cold Beer Amnesty which allowed festival-goers to exchange their own cans of any brand beer for an ice cold Carling. Prior to founding Cake, Mark worked at a number of advertising and media agencies.

Tracey started her career as a Suit with Lowe Howard Spink in the halycon advertising days of the 1990s, where she was part of an agency who delivered award-winning work for clients such as Tesco, Stella Artois, and News International.

She moved client-side to Lloyds TSB before having a number of years running her own consultancy, working for numerous intermediaries and agencies advising on client/agency relationships and new business best practice. She then moved back into agency world, joining Havas helia (then EHS Brann) and taking them to Agency of the Year, before joining DLBi and working with Kitcatt Nohr and Digitas LBI. 

Tracey joined Havas as Creative Group CMO in September 2015 before being promoted to Europe and UK Group CMO – a role in which she oversees new business and marketing for Havas’ media and creative agencies in the UK and across Europe

Xav joined us in early 2016 from adam&eveDDB. His previous agencies include BBH, Claydon Healey and AIS, giving him broad experience across the industry.

He wears it lightly, though, and has a reputation for honesty, integrity, consistency, and openness. He instils those qualities through the whole team, too. Former clients describe him as one of the best account men they’ve ever worked with, who always balances the client’s business need with the best creative solution. He always pushes for more, always wants quality, always builds strong relationships to make things happen within the creative proceeds.

He’s a strategic thinker, and a business man. He believes in running tight, efficient teams, in which the account handlers keep a constant eye on the budget, while his passion for creative is infectious. And he makes sure his team rallies behind the work (as long as it's on brief).

Colleagues describe him as serious, but always fun. Havas believes in recruiting the very best into our senior management team, and Xav clearly fits the bill. He’s not just respected by the clients, agency teams and creatives he’s worked with, but admired, and missed by those who no longer work with him.

Mark joined Havas in January 2016 from M&C Saatchi. As Fallon CSO Mark led planning across the business, masterminding Cadbury Gorilla and developing strategy for the Sony portfolio, which was immortalised in its highly integrated ‘Sony Balls’ campaign.

He’s spent time client-side, too – nearly four years as Marketing Director at ASDA where he launched the world’s first ‘Price Guarantee’ initiative. Following that, he spent four years in Asia as regional CSO for two WPP networks. There he led the planning on Ogilvy’s first IPA Gold 2012 for Singapore’s anti-smoking lobby, and transformed the Coke Hands campaign into a Cannes Grand Prix success.

Since returning to the UK Mark has worked closely with Virgin Holidays, TFL and NatWest, delivering customer insight, communications strategy and smart channel planning. He is demanding and inspiring in equal measure, and the measure of his strategic thinking is the number of creatively outstanding campaigns he’s brought to market across the world.

Adrian was one of the founding Partners of Cake in 1999. Since then the agency has consistently pushed the boundaries and definitions of the term 'Brand Entertainment' which they first painted on the wall in the office reception area in 2003. When Cake joined Havas Media in 2008, Adrian relocated to New York to launch the Cake north American business, overseeing the company’s work for the likes of Motorola, Havaianas, Volvo Red Bull and LVMH.

Four years later, Adrian returned to the UK to oversee Cake ahead them merging with Havas Sports and Entertainment. Appointed to CEO Jan 1st 2015, Adrian now oversees both companies, and established Havas Media’s first Entertainment Hub in London.

Ben is the Executive Creative Director of Havas London. Ben leads a 45 person creative department, full of old-fashioned and new-fashioned storytellers, all on a mission to create culturally impactful work to make a meaningful difference – to our brands, our audience and to the lives of the people we work with.
Ben’s appointment as ECD of Havas followed the acquisition of his 8 year old agency Work Club, twice Digital Agency of the Year, by the Havas group in 2014. The populist, innovative creativity of Work Club now lies at the heart of the Havas London creative department.

Nicola joined Havas in January of this year following a 9 year stint at Grey London, where she headed up the multi award winning McVitie’s account. Her experience as both a client and BTL agency lead, combined with her straightforward, honest approach, means she’s brilliantly placed to lead large integrated teams. She’s done this successfully for both P&G and GSK. Clients credit her with being the reason they’ve begun to enjoy working with their agencies, as well as being an operator who is fundamental in driving their business results.
