Chris is European & UK Group Chief Executive Officer. In 2017 Havas moved all 1800 of their London employees to Havas Kings Cross giving them a unique breadth and depth of capability in one location.


Chris’ vision to develop bespoke multi-disciplinary teams built around the needs of clients - with a single lead, a single culture and single P&L. Chris’ recent appointment as European and UK CEO follows a successful 12 years at Grey London.  During his 6 years as CEO at Grey he transformed the agency into the fastest growing (doubling its size) and most creatively awarded in the UK advertising market.  As well as winning IPA agency of the year.

Mark Whelan is Chief Creative Officer of Havas London and a Global Creative Director of Havas Worldwide. He is the only creative director in London to have oversight of both the creative and media side of a major network. 

Mark and his colleagues have led the transformation of Havas from a mediocre agency to one of the most successful in London, with recent clients wins Bloomberg News, Carling Lager, Doombar ale, Dubai Expo 2020 and Rekorderlig cider.

His big focus has been on creating and implementing the “village model” where Havas people with different skillsets form bespoke and flexible “clusters’ around client projects, rather than staying within individual agency brands.

Tracey started her career as a Suit with Lowe Howard Spink, in the halycon advertising days of the 1990s, where she was part of an agency who delivered award winning work for clients such as Tesco, Stella Artois , and News International. She moved clientside to Lloyds TSB before having a number of years running her own consultancy. She then moved back into agency world, joining Havas helia ( then EHS Brann) and taking them to Agency of the Year, before joining DLBi and working with Kitcatt Nohr. Tracey joined Havas as Group CMO in September 2015 and oversees new business and marketing for the creative and media agencies within HKX as well as across Europe.

Xav joined Havas London as CEO in March 2016 from Adam and Eve. His previous agencies include BBH, Claydon Healey and AIS, giving him broad experience across the industry. He wears it lightly, though, and has a reputation for honesty, integrity, consistency, and openness. He instils those qualities through the whole team, too. Former clients describe him as one of the best account men they’ve ever worked with, who always balances the client’s business need with the best creative solution. He always pushes for more, always wants quality, always builds strong relationships to make things happen within the creative process

Mark joined Havas in January 2016 from M&C Saatchi, bringing with him a wealth of experience. As Fallon CSO Mark led planning across the business, masterminding Cadbury Gorilla and developing the strategy for the Sony portfolio, which was immortalised in its highly integrated ‘Sony Balls’ campaign. 

Mark brings outstanding strategic thinking to the Havas team, tried and tested in global markets and on both sides of the fence, agency and client. He is demanding and inspiring in equal measure, and the measure of his strategic thinking is the number of creatively outstanding campaigns he’s brought to market across the world.

Adrian was one of the founding Partners of Cake in 1999. Since then the agency has consistently pushed the boundaries and definitions of the term 'Brand Entertainment' which they first painted on the wall in the office reception area in 2003. When Cake joined Havas Media in 2008, Adrian relocated to New York to launch the Cake north American business, overseeing the company’s work for the likes of Motorola, Havaianas, Volvo Red Bull and LVMH.

Four years later, Adrian returned to the UK to oversee Cake ahead them merging with Havas Sports and Entertainment. Appointed to CEO Jan 1st 2015, Adrian now oversees both companies, and established Havas Media’s first Entertainment Hub in London.

As Havas London's Executive Strategy Director, Clare runs a number of key pieces of business and sits on the agency's leadership team. She previously spent six years as Partner and Head of Strategy for 101 London, joining the start-up six months after it was founded and leaving upon its successful sale to MullenLowe. She has also worked as Head of Strategy at WCRS, strategist and board member at AMV BBDO and strategist at Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters, plus a stint client-side as Head of Acquisition at BSkyB. She has worked on brands including Innocent, Kettle, The Economist, Sky, BBC, Pepsi, Road Safety and Tobacco Control for the Government.

Ben is the Executive Creative Director of Havas London. Ben leads a 45 person creative department, full of old-fashioned and new-fashioned storytellers, all on a mission to create culturally impactful work to make a meaningful difference – to our brands, our audience and to the lives of the people we work with.
Ben’s appointment as ECD of Havas followed the acquisition of his 8 year old agency Work Club, twice Digital Agency of the Year, by the Havas group in 2014. The populist, innovative creativity of Work Club now lies at the heart of the Havas London creative department. 

Nicola Wardell

Nicola joined Havas in January of this year following a 9 year stint at Grey London, where she headed up the multi award winning McVitie’s account. Her experience as both a client and BTL agency lead, combined with her straightforward, honest approach, means she’s brilliantly placed to lead large integrated teams. She’s done this successfully for both P&G and GSK. Clients credit her with being the reason they’ve begun to enjoy working with their agencies, as well as being an operator who is fundamental in driving their business results.
