In 1998, Sue moved from media into agency management, becoming MD and subsequently CEO of McCann Manchester and, in this role, she has created the largest integrated agency in the UK. Sue has worked across a broad range of brands including American Airlines, London 2012, UPS, Peugeot, Durex, Scholl, Aldi and Sainsbury's Bank. 

Sue’s proudest achievement was when the agency was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. McCann Manchester delivered a number of key milestone projects for London 2012 over the course of four years, working alongside McCann Worldgroup.

Richard started his career at McCann 26 years ago working within the discipline of media planning and buying. Having spent 13 years specialising in media Richard moved into a broader Channel Planning role. In this role he worked for 3 years as part of the McCann Worldgroup team on the London 2012 Olympic Games assignment. 

In more recent years Richard has focused on Client Service and has led some of McCann Manchester’s key accounts including Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), Npower, Smyths Toys and Cross Country Trains.

Simon joined McCann Manchester in 1998 and has worked at a senior level across a wide variety of the agency’s clients including Durex, Scholl, Sainsbury’s Finance and Magnet Kitchens.

Simon has previously worked on a range of public sector accounts at McCann Manchester, heading up the Teacher Training Agency work for almost four years, with responsibility for the development and implementation of both the advertising, direct marketing and media strategies. His work with the TTA won DMA Echo (Gold & Silver) in two respective years and Cannes Lion (Bronze). In addition, Simon led the team that created a brand and vision to enable the British Council to better market British education abroad. 

Simon now heads up one of the agency’s biggest food and retail accounts, Aldi, leading a 100-strong team which provides a fully integrated marketing service for Aldi in the UK and Ireland.

David has more than 20 year’s agency experience, the majority of which has been spent in two different periods at McCann Manchester, as well as DMB&B and JWT.

Throughout this time he has focussed on health and well-being, both human and animal, and probably covered every part of the body in some manner.

He has led many award winning campaigns for ethical, OTC, POM to P, direct to consumer and personal care brands on behalf of many leading companies including GSK, Reckitt Benckiser, Pedigree Petfoods, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, Lilly, Seven Seas, Shire and SSL International.

Executive Creative Director

Dave is amongst the most awarded creative people in the UK. He became Executive Creative Director in 2008 and has been at the forefront of the development of the creative product, across Aldi, Durex, Teacher Training Agency and a range of retail clients.

Dave has picked up numerous awards including Eurobest, Creative Circle, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Epica, Campaign Big Awards and British Television Gold, Silver and Bronze Arrows, among others.

Planning Director

Jamie founded Blue Banana, the research and insight Consultancy in 1990 to bring consumer understanding and insight to clients.

Jamie then joined McCann Manchester in March 2010 to add further experience and know-how to the planning and Insight team.

Jamie is now responsible for providing planning support across a broad spectrum of clients, with strong experience in public health awareness campaigns and female health. His client experience includes: AstraZeneca, Unilever, P&G, Mars, Waitrose, Kellogg’s, Pizza Express, Tropicana, Rachel's Organic and Walkers Crisps.

Neil has over 20 years industry experience and heads up McCann Manchester’s widely awarded and respected creative department with Dave Price.

Neil started his career as a junior writer at BDH/TBWA where he progressed to become Head of Copy, working on brands such as Solvite, Indesit and MB games. After seven years’ freelance, divided between London and the North, he joined McCann  Manchester.  His partnership with Dave Price has produced an extraordinary series of creative and effectiveness awards.

The creative duo have been responsible for an unprecedented number of creative awards, nationally and internationally (including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Eurobest, New York Festivals, and London International Awards) for work on a diverse range of clients and sectors from Marie Stopes International to Durex, from Peugeot to the Teacher Training Agency, from Adidas to Aldi.

Robin has over 25 years’ industry experience and was responsible for heading up the PR and Social Media team at McCann Manchester. He ran campaigns for UK and international brands such as Holiday Inn, Hotel Indigo, Durex, Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Aldi.

Robin then moved to New Zealand to set up a new content marketing offering for Fuse OMD and worked on accounts such as McDonalds, Anchor, and Adidas. Robin has recently returned back to the UK to take on the role of Chief Content Officer at McCann and to oversee all content creation from strategy ideation to execution.

In 2002 Monica founded her own agency and over the next ten years grew the agency and clients specialising strategic consultancy and digital marketing for a wide range of SME’s and public sector clients.

Monica joined McCann Manchester in 2012 to head up the digital offering for Aldi and helped them to launch their first eCommerce site in the UK in January 2016.  Monica now works across all clients at McCann Manchester offering strategic digital consultancy as well as managing a team of 35 digital designers, developers and UX specialists to deliver digital solutions.

Sharon’s media career spans 16 years beginning her  journey at J. Walter Thompson before joining Universal McCann in 1995.

Over the years Sharon has built up her experience across brand, retail and direct response sectors working on clients such as Peugeot, Magnet Kitchens, Durex, Clarks, Teacher Training Agency and AXA Insurance.

Sharon became Head of Online Media in 2006 having been captivated by the digital world, the ROI capabilities and the engagement opportunities it offered and built a 15 strong team offering accountable solutions across a number of key markets and brands, including Sainsbury’s Bank, Portland Holidays, American Airlines and Wickes.

Sharon now heads up Universal McCann as wells as being responsible for McCanns Data Insight and Comms Planning functions.  She is primarily driven by delivering accountable; truly channel neutral business solutions for clients.

An Electronic Engineering Graduate of Manchester University, Jim has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry working with high profile names including Procter & Gamble, BMW, 02, Cable & Wireless, Bulmers and Unipart.

By background Jim is a public relations and reputation management specialist and he has worked with many leading public and private sector organisations advising them in this area. Jim was appointed New Business Director in 2009 and since then has successfully driven a period of continued new business growth for the agency.
