CEO

Vicky has spent over 20 years in the brand industry, becoming CEO of Coley Porter Bell in 2005. Here she leads work for many of the world’s largest brand owners, including Unilever, Nestlé, and Pernod Ricard delivering brand strategy and brand architecture solutions, visual identities, naming and innovation.

She is particularly interested in how we can leverage the learnings of neuroscience to create more powerful brand solutions. Ultimately, Vicky wants to make Coley Porter Bell and our clients famous for creating beautifully persuasive brands that grow.

Vicky also sits on the Ogilvy UK Group Board.

John Clark
John Clark
Head of Strategic Planning

Having started his career in advertising with Ogilvy and refining his skills at Publicis and M&C Saatchi, John joined Coley Porter Bell in 2011. This move brought him full circle – back to both the Ogilvy Group and to design, which he studied at college.

Day to day, he heads up the team responsible for the overall quality of the agencies strategic output, and provides strategic direction for his own clients’ projects.

Over the years, John’s had a hand in the success of brands including Dove, Ladbrokes, Famous Grouse, and American Express. Outside of work, he sits on the APG Committee, and, as a keen traveller, is slowly colouring in all the countries on his world map.

Executive Creative Director

James plans, defines and communicates the creative culture of our agency, inspiring our creative studio and wider team to use design and creativity to help our clients shine. Whether he’s sharing new creative methods and ways of working, shaping our design philosophy, or championing our agency to the wider community, James’ collaborative, supportive approach really brings brands to life.

An innate story teller, James loves everything about the movies, so defining and sharing brand stories comes naturally. He’s also a fan of technology and keeps up to date with the latest gadgets, apps and digital platforms.

Before joining our team, he inspired creatives at Rufus Leonard working with clients including Lloyds Bank, Scottish Widows, Premier Inn and Odeon. Past successes include a shelf full of gold and silver Transform award wins from 2012 to 2015.

Managing Partner - Strategic Development

Alex has nearly 20 years‘ above and below-the-line brand experience gained both agency and client-side.

She joined Coley Porter Bell in 2008 and for many years led the Pernod Ricard account. She has also managed global design and innovation projects for clients such as Nestlé Rowntrees, Unilever and Heinz. Previous clients have also included Porsche, Rover & MG. In 2016, Alex took on a new role responsible for the strategic development of our business. Her remit is to deliver strategic, creative and tactical initiatives that grow our offer, our clients, our people and our business.

Alex is also our resident drinks expert and has a truly in-depth knowledge of this sector – including a WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wine & Spirits. She also sits on the WSET Alumni Advisory Board as the UK representative.

Jennifer Ives
Jennifer Ives
Managing Partner - Client Service

In addition to looking after our Client Services team, Jen leads our global client partnerships. She has a wealth of experience in corporate and consumer experiential branding and marketing across online and offline.

Her knowledge of the design and branding process is end-to-end. Naming, brand architecture, positioning, brand engagement, environments, visual identity, and production. You name it and she’s delivered it, for clients including Galderma, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, IHG, Old Spice, KFC International, Argos, Sears and easyJet.

Outside the office, Jen channels her creative side through running, fibre arts and screenprinting.
