Robin has 20 years agency experience in all areas of media, most recently as Media Director at Proximity and OMD UK. Prior to this Robin held senior roles at Crayon Customer Insight, Independent Direct Marketing Ltd and Zenith-Optimedia. Robin has a passion for performance marketing and has extensive experience in driving growth across all channels from broadcast to data and digital media. He also works closely with creative agencies to encourage a truly coordinated media approach.

Genevieve Tompkins is Managing Partner at independent media agency MC&C, where she oversees the strategic direction of clients, to deliver sustainable long term business growth. Genevieve has a passion for charity sector clients, paired with a broad background in working with finance, travel and FMCG brands. She has always worked at independent agencies and is a vocal advocate of the benefits an agency’s independence can bring to clients. Genevieve is an experienced media practitioner who has proudly delivered substantial business outcomes (and awards) for some of the UK’s leading charities,  with one campaign for St John Ambulance leading to recognition from Sheryl Sandberg and the senior Facebook team. As a mother of two young children, she is dedicated to demonstrating that mothers can hold and be effective in senior agency positions.

Simon is currently a board director of MC&C Media and MD of MUSE, the business modelling unit within MC&C. In his role at MUSE Simon looks after clients including David Lloyd Clubs, The Economist, Riviera Travel, Royal Mail, TM Lewin, UNICEF and WaterAid. Prior to MC&C he set up his own media and communications consultancy, working with brand such as HiPP Organic, Just-Eat, KAYAK and Gumtree. Simon has extensive experience in the media space, as a founder Managing Partner of Mindshare and main board director and group company managing director at PHD. He has also held senior roles at CACI, Channel 4, Ogilvy One and Initiative Media, FCB Worldwide. Simon has an MA in Marketing (with Distinction) and is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the CIM and the IDM.

Rob Watt is International MD at independent media agency MC&C and is responsible for delivering client growth, without borders. At MC&C he is in charge of new business development, strategy and client satisfaction for global clients. Rob has extensive experience across the media, advertising and technology world, most recently as Managing Director at celebrity shopping rewards site, tbseen.com. Prior to this he held senior roles at digital agencies Razorfish and Pixelpark, as well as advertising agency Ogilvy Primary Contact. Rob is a prominent figure on the advertising scene, having spoken at events such as Ad Tech London, YourDigitalFuture and iStrategy. In addition to this he has sat on judging panels for the International Festival of Media Awards and Vibrant Media Awards.

Mike Colling is Founder & Chief Executive at independent media agency MC&C and Chief Executive of MC&C International, leading his team to create profitable, sustainable growth for clients. Mike has been in media for 30 years and is serial entrepreneur, having set up and helped run successful traditional advertising agencies, direct marketing agencies, media agencies and digital agencies. Mike was one of the pioneers of direct response media in the UK, and regularly speaks on this subject and on future media developments. He is chair of the Jicmail and a fellow of the IDM. Mike lives in the Chiltern Hills with his wife and an ever growing menagerie of animals.

Emily is New Business & Marketing Director at MC&C Media where she is responsible for driving reputation growth and lead generation, as well as leading the agency's new business pitch strategies. Emily brings a decade of experience in media and advertising, having held a number of new business and marketing roles at Havas, where she has spent the majority of her career. Emily’s most recent role prior to MC&C was as Marketing Director for Havas Group UK, where she oversaw the market positioning of the agency group and its portfolio brands.

Nicola Shepherd-Banks is Chief Client Officer at independent media agency MC&C where she oversees the retention and growth of existing clients through innovative strategies. In her role she ensures the team are motivated to deliver excellent work for clients and to meet the high standards of the agency. Nicola has held a wide range of roles during her 17 years in marketing, notably spending 9 years at Barclays as Head of Media overseeing a team of media managers and developing an ad tech stack, recognising the importance of insight and data to drive marketing decisions. In recognition of her work Nicola was voted one of the top 50 women in Ad Tech by ExchangeWire, won the WACL 2016/17 Future Leaders Awards and is a member of the Bloom Network.
