A Modern History graduate from Balliol College, Oxford and founder of MBA. Stephen’s career spans over 30 years – previously working at AMVBBDO and TBWA/Simons Palmer. Stephen is also the Chairman of the Marketing Society, an IPA Council Member, Chair of #IPASocialWorks, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, features in Debrett’s ‘People of Today’, sits on the board of BAFTA (and is a failed rock guitarist).
Having spent his earlier career at Saatchi & Saatchi and Euro RSCG and then being promoted to the board at Lintas as one of its youngest ever directors, Graham joined Yellowhammer early in its inception making him one of the original truly integrated creative people in London. When he isn’t working, Graham loves to spend his time experiencing a range of different courses – golf courses that is!
James started his career at WWAV Rapp Collins working on the Carling, P&G and Hilton accounts. More recently he has applied his broad range of digital and direct experience to running the international business on Accor Hotels, Neilson Holidays and Embraer Jets. A keen traveller, when James isn’t working you’ll probably find him somewhere sunny getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.
Paul studied economics at Sydney University before embarking on his career at Euro RSCG on Dell. This included a client secondment in Shanghai, where apart from developing a taste for fine Asian cuisine, he also became somewhat of a data expert. A keen sportsman as well, Paul’s idea of relaxing is a 2 hour run before work!
James takes the strategic lead across all aspects of Planning including brand, communications and data. He developed his approach working on the likes of Shell, Royal Mail, Porsche, John Lewis and Peugeot at Proximity and CMW. He’s now a member of the IPA’s Value of Creativity and #IPASocialWorks groups, and James enjoys arrhythmic guitar playing and is somewhat of an Octonauts aficionado.
Alex started working in digital in the late 1990s before founding renowned digital agency Cubeworks in 2002. Cubeworks was acquired by MBA in 2013 with Alex joining the board as CTO as well as continuing to head up MBA’s new Brighton office. His aim as CTO is to ensure that MBA is well-placed to offer clients the right technology to realise its brilliant creative ideas, whatever the channel.
An economics graduate from Exeter University and qualified ACA via Deloitte, Paul has worked at MBA since 1998. Paul’s loves include Arsenal football club and Rome where he has a second home and spends many a weekend enjoying the Italian way of life.
Jack comes from a strong integrated background having spent his early years honing his craft at agencies such as Work Club and Albion. He joined MBA in 2014 before quickly becoming Creative Director. With a passion for restoring classic cars he can often be found lying under an engine covered in grease.
Caitlin is a career-digital-native, and has worked on brands including L’Oreal, Silverstone and Morrisons at independent digital agencies. Caitlin brings both Art and Science skills to the table. She has a Pharmacology degree and writes poetry which has been published and exhibited in the UK and US.
