Netflix: Speak like the Patron

Netflix teamed with language app Babbel to create a Spanish lesson inspired by the world of Narcos.

Narcos is one of the Netflix’s most loved series, that triggered the fans’ interest in the plot, and in the Spanish language. For the launch of the season 2, we decided to offer fans a unique tool to learn the fundamentals of Spanish language. With Babbel, one of the leading apps for learning languages, we created an entire Spanish lesson inspired by the world of Narcos.

 

On the day the course launched, media all over the world soon caught on to the world’s most unique language lesson. The Next Web, The Drum, CNN and many more featured the campaign. Social media helped carry the word further, even generating support from celebrities, such as Ashton Kutcher.
