Propercorn launched in 2009 as a healthy snacking
alternative. Casandra’s (the founder and ex-BBH ZAG’er)
vision was to buildthe most exciting FMCG brand in
the UK. After enjoying somefantastic early success and
rapid growth, Cas came back to BBH ZAG for advice on
how best to set the brand up for the next stageof growth -
properly breaking through and taking a leadership
position in her category. 



ZAG helped more clearly define the Propercorn positioning
and long-term brand strategy; we updated their core brand
assets, including re-shooting popcorn and laying it as a new
brand pattern they could use across all media; and we
advised on application across their broader brand world.




Propercorn properly broke-through to become a category leading brand, securing distribution with Tesco, Waitrose and Boots and growing sales to over £10million, over-taking both Tyrells and Metcalfes
