The brief

Put on a show for the annual ChildLine Charity Ball that will not only entertain an audience from the media industry but also achieve record-breaking fundraising for the charity.

Our solution

Blueprint has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with ChildLine and have been supporting their annual charity ball for over 5 years.

In October 2015 we raised the bar to new levels by producing, directing and staging Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway ChildLine Ball at Old Billingsgate Market.

The evening saw Ant & Dec, Clare Balding, Stephen Mulhern and other special guests host a special live edition of the popular ITV show produced by Blueprint.

Through innovative use of technology we were able to introduce a real-time competitive element to the fundraising which helped achieve a phenomenal £920,000 for ChildLine, beating the previous highest total by £200,000

The event also created engaging content to be shared across social media and extend the reach of the fundraising effort beyond the gathered audience. This helped bring in additional donations which increased the grand total raised on the night.
