National Conference and AGM

The brief

Amnesty International wanted someone to deliver a smooth and professional event, taking the burden of organisation away from them so they could focus on the issues that matter to them.

Our solution

Blueprint have worked with Amnesty International for 18 years and every year we support them with their National Conference and AGM in the UK, which is usually spread over two or three days.

As an organisation that stands up for humanity and human rights for ordinary people across the world, they want to maximise the time they have together at the conference and leave the delegate and guest management to us.

WIth up to 500 delegates every year there is a lot of logistical support required. From sourcing accommodation and transportation to liaising with third parties, we take the strain on their behalf.

We also handle production and onsite guest management, and we seek to bring innovation to a tried and tested format to ensure the whole event runs smoothly.

AIUK is run as a constitution, so throughout the event delegates are asked to vote on important issues and determine what they will campaign about in the coming year.  It’s a fundamental part of how they work, and in recent years we’ve facilitated this and made the whole process slicker by introducing an electronic voting platform to move them away from their old, somewhat convoluted process.

We are proud of our association with Amnesty International, an organisation with values that align closely with ours and our bGood initiative to give as we grow, which you can read more about here.

“Thank you so much for being such a wonderful group of people, we really enjoyed working with you. I felt so secure when working alongside Blueprint right up to and including the event."
