The Challenge

Travelex asked for our help to launch its new product Supercard - a unique payment product that makes it possible to avoid all credit and debit card roaming fees and charges that usually apply when using these cards abroad.

The Solution

We devised an integrated campaign that brought to life how Supercard makes you the holiday hero, giving you the power to be free from bank card roaming charges. We created The Supercard Squad, a team of heroes dispatched to Alcudia, Majorca, by Travelex to help British tourists become holiday heroes enhancing their holiday experience by responding to requests from the hashtag #SupercardSquad. The Supercard Squad were on hand during the summer holidays to help tourists out with small requests such as lost goggles, popped lilos and ice cream runs –  ensuring no one felt they were missing out on their holiday due to holiday penny-pinching.  Each day The Supercard Squad put on fun activities on the beach to help improve Brits’ holiday experience from volleyball and kite-flying to Mocktails and a Slip & Slide.
