This November, Milton Court will play host to BITE LIVE and see the world’s leading brands and their agency partners on stage together.

As BITE Managing Editor Kara Melchers explains, “The creative industry is full of conversation about what we should be doing, but who are the brands transforming these ideas into action, and how are they doing it? We want to reveal how together they have turned cultural and societal insights into the most creative and effective campaigns of the year.”

 

Mother and IKEA

You’ll be able to hear Kemi Anthony from IKEA Group and Katie Mackay from Mother in discussion about a collaboration that won the brand and agency a D&AD Pencil earlier this year.

Hear how their seven-year relationship has focused on building the brand’s health in the long term, with IKEA experiencing continual sales growth and outgrowing the category and competitors.

Sense and The Economist

We’re delighted to say Nick Adams from Sense and Marina Haydn from The Economist will be joining us. They’ll be discussing how they built an always-on campaign, generated thousands of new users with a lifetime value of millions and ushered in a new internal department – all by selling less.

Their talk will affirm how you can’t go wrong by focussing on what’s interesting about your brand, even if that thing might at first glance appear daunting.

We can’t wait to hear from Nick and Marina and for their invaluable experience and insight to become a part of the day.

 

Mr President and Stonewall

We’re privileged to welcome Laura Jordan Bambach from Mr. President and Lucy Abell from Stonewall to #BITELIVE. They’ll be talking about how they’ve launched a three year campaign to inspire, educate and energise a (currently) passive section of the community into taking more meaningful action on LGBT rights in their everyday lives.  

The majority of the UK are broadly in favour of LGBT rights however their support on most accounts is silent. Laura and Lucy will talk about how their campaign builds on the progress of hard-won rights to move closer towards the goal of acceptance without exception and how it’s sometimes more impactful to be positive than preachy.

 

J. Walter Thompson and Mindshare

 

A big part of what makes #BITELIVE so essential are the voices heard throughout the day. November’s event will be no different with Marie Stafford from JWT’s The Innovation Group and Jeremy Pounder from Mindshare celebrating the past, present and future of voice. The stage at Milton Court will be transformed into an audio journey tracing the history of the recorded voice, as performed by a special guest.

Afterwards, Marie and Jeremy will present Speak Easy, a new trend report that explores our nascent relationship with voice technology and envisions the rise of a voice-activated world. This glimpse at voice interaction not only explores how the way consumers live their lives will be redefined, but also the way brands engage consumers.
