 Agencies pitch for AXA Direct brief AXA have invited three agencies to pitch for the creative and strategic development of their integrated direct marketing campaign in the UK for their over 50’s life insurance product. The primary focus will be on the acquisition of new customers, with retention and CRM playing a significant role at a later stage. The appointed agency will win a place on AXA’s future roster and will work alongside Bray Leino who’s relationship with the brand will be unaffected.
Owing to the volume, quality and necessary speed of response on future projects, location will play a significant factor in the client’s decision process. The successful agency therefore, is likely to be based in the South West of England, in close proximity to AXA’s Bristol headquarters.
 Constellation appoint 3 agencies to work across portfolio of brands Constellation Wines have appointed three creativebrief members, namely Initials, Quantum Marketing and Billington Cartmell to deliver strategic promotional marketing campaigns across their portfolio of brands, which includes Kumala, Fish Hoek, Robert Mandavi and Banrock Station.
Newly appointed agencies will work to deliver fully integrated communications
with the aim to achieve real stand out in both the on and off trade sectors.

 Cheethambell JWT win £7m bmibaby advertising account JWT Cheethambell has pitched against three other agencies to handle bmibaby’s advertising requirements. The well known low cost carrier has identified the need to continue to evolve their brand, not only to reflect the success they have experienced over the past six years since launch, but to move into the next phase of the business.
The review comes in recognition of the need for a creative agency that is able to realise the client’s ambition and play an instrumental role going forward, in shaping the future positioning of the airline. Other agencies to have pitched for the £7m account include Farm, Isobel and TBWA Manchester.
 Automotive client seeks integrated agencies This well-known automotive manufacturer is seeking a number of agencies to fulfil their new marketing strategy which will extend across a range of communication channels and activities.
The client requires two agencies to execute separate specialist communications strategies, one focused on their dealership marketing, the other on their fleet. Successful agencies will need to demonstrate considerable previous experience in the given sector. Freesat consider themselves to be a small company with big ideas and want a like minded creative agency partner to help shape the next phase of their growth and realise their ambition.

 Bright Blue Day win £3m Zurich brief Following a three-way pitch, Zurich has appointed Bright Blue Day to the roster of integrated marketing agencies. Work will be predominantly UK based and will initially lean towards B2B with some B2C and require a further understanding of both the private and public sector. Other agencies competing at final pitch included Gyro and The Communications Agency.
