Challenge

Current account switching was at an all time low. TSB wanted to grow the switcher market to not only achieve 6% market share, but also deliver on its mission to make banking better for everyone.


Solution

A multi-channel campaign to provoke people to break free and go somewhere better, featuring the ultimate symbol of banking self-interest and complacency: fat cats. TV, posters, press, radio, sponsorship and a PR stunt where five huge inflatable cats were driven around The City, supported by a product campaign which proved why TSB's current account was different.
