Challenge

Thatchers cider wanted to drive growth beyond their heartland in Somerset, but in a crowded category dominated by fruit cider, they needed to grow without losing their soul.

Insight

Unlike other cider brands, Thatchers is made on a real farm by a real family, their cider-making expertise means they make their cider the way it should be done. That means every pint of Thatchers cider that leaves the farm is just perfect.

Solution

A multi-channel campaign that uncovered the real stories behind what makes Thatchers 'What cider's supposed to taste like'. Brought to life in TV and social video (33 executions, all shot on Myrtle Farm with 4th generation founder Martin Thatcher and his chief cider maker), OOH, Digital, Social, Sports Sponsorship and experiential and sampling - a travelling cider vat serving Thatchers at events across the country.
