Social Media for Britains best love pie

Pukka Pies

Pukka is the nation favourite pie brand, producing around 6 million pies per year. Established in Fish and Chip Shops and Sports Stadia the brand has now be extended to all major grocers. Together were appointed to manage their Social Media which included strategy, content creation, scheduling, community management and reporting.

One of the key challenges we faced was the lack of assets – we had just one image of a Pukka Pie. To get round this, a lot of our content, both organic and paid was illustrated.

We have detailed below a number of our campaigns.

Sparking the Great British Pie Debate on social

This campaign, headed up by Feddie Flintoff, was to settle the debate between the nations pie eaters, i.e. how they eat their pies, with Chips or Mash?. We had tens of thousands of entries from the British public and mash was the clear winner.

Pukka up your day

To brighten up people’s day we gave consumers chance to win £1000 every day for 10 days, by nominating how they would spend their winnings. We had over 40k entries and increased engagement levels by 15%

Pie personalities

We also ran a nationwide pole to find out how the British public ate their pies. Were they 'Chip Dippers' or 'Purists'?
