Famously it was reported that Brits would have to drink 124 pints this summer if pubs were to bounce back to pre-covid levels. Yet, as live events return and social calendars fill up, pints are flowing once again and what once seemed like an insane statistic seems slightly less insane… (only slightly!)

As punters return to the pubs, Beavertown Brewery has teamed up with agency, Here Be Dragons, to seize the opportunity to meet its consumers where they are by announcing the opening of its first-ever pub, Corner Pin. Which will open in Beavertown’s home in the heart of Tottenham on Wednesday 1st September 2021.

Corner Pin sits bang-opposite the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Beavertown aims to bring a new hangout for football fans and non-fans alike with its new venue. Decorated with the recognisable, vibrant Beavertown designs and colour pallet, Corner Pin aims to encompass what makes Beavertown unique. The venue will also soon announce a menu of pub food to go alongside the house Beavertown beer to bring its customers an all-encompassing traditional pub experience set over three floors, with a sun-trap beer garden to match.

Corner Pin takes its name from “The Corner Pin”, a pub that has stood on the Tottenham spot since the 1970s, but has more recently been used as Tottenham Hotspur’s former Ticket Office. The Beavertown restoration of Corner Pin will restore the site to its former glory, aiming to bring something new to the area that will resonate with the local community.

Alex Thorpe, Senior Business Development Manager at Tottenham Hotspur FC, commented “We are excited to reveal our plans to restore The Corner Pin to its former use – a vibrant and modern pub that is sure to be popular amongst our fans, our local community and visitors to the area. As a business rooted in this community, Beavertown Brewery shares the Club’s vision for Tottenham and we are delighted to be working with them on this project that aims to bring a further boost to the local economy.”

This is the first time that Beavertown has opened a real-life venue in its 9 year history and the brand has aimed to inject its essence into every inch of the pub. The decor mimics the same creativity, character, and fun displayed on the design of their cans with matching glassware and artwork to provide a complete experience.

Yet, beyond this, the beer list is what is perhaps the true selling point of the venue as the pub displays the full range of Beavertown beers from the iconic Neck Oil and bold Gamma Ray to the punchier Lupuloid. Corner Pin is set to have Beavertown’s entire range on draught alongside the brand new Bones on draught, to give visitors to the venue a taste of the newest launch in venues from August. The venues will also be decked out with a selection of cocktails, spirits, wines and soft drinks for that less beer-inclined.

Logan Plant, Founder of Beavertown Brewery, added: ‘ We can’t wait to open the doors to this historic venue and breathe new life into the much-loved pub, the only way we know how…with epic design, cracking beer and a great atmosphere.’

With the pubs well and truly back in action, this restoration project of a once-loved local boozer will be a welcome return for Tottenham locals and Beavertown fans alike.
