Highly anticipated film ‘Babylon’ has hit the big screens and EVERYMAN cinema kicked off the launch by bringing the party to life. Brokered by Pearl & Dean, the cinema partnered with luxury vehicle brand Jaguar to create a special immersive event and screening of Babylon at the four-screen EVERYMAN Crystal Palace.

EVERYMAN transformed the space into a dazzling cinematic experience with 300 guests travelling back in time to the hedonistic world of Hollywood in the 1920s.

The experiential event hosted a live performance piece from The Twins Prendergast, featuring dancers inside and outside the venue, acrobats, showgirls and a 10-piece jazz band, Perhaps Contraption that helped guests engage with the buzz and joy of the time. Bringing to life the outrageousness of Babylon, the immersive party also included a 1920s Babylon tasting experience, with special canapés and cocktails all themed around the glitz and glamour of the era. VIP guests were chauffeured in Jaguar’s fully electric vehicles.

“At EVERYMAN we believe that cinema is all about creating memorable experiences, and we are excited to be able to create a campaign that blurs the line between film and reality. Experiential activations like this really highlight the power of cinema and the endless ways brands can get in front of their target audience,” explained Adam Reynolds, Head of Brand Partnerships at EVERYMAN.

Pearl & Dean has brokered the renewal of the long-running partnership between Jaguar and EVERYMAN until early 2024 so cinemagoers are set to be treated to more exciting campaigns throughout 2023.

With experiential campaigns on the rise, as events gain back popularity post-pandemic, this immersive party brought the magic of the silver screen to life taking audiences back in time to the glamorous 1920s.
