Gerety Awards Unveil 2022 Jury

The unique awards series, which views advertising through a female lens, has announced its 2022 jury.

The Gerety Awards is unique because it judges all advertising, not just advertising made for or by women through female lens; with an all-female jury. 

The awards, which have set out to create a new benchmark in creative excellence, have revealed their 2022 judges which include Chaka Sobhani, Global Chief Creative Officer, Leo Burnett Worldwide and Chief Creative Officer Leo Burnett UK and Fallon and Imali Hettiarachchi, Global Brand Strategy, the LEGO Group, UK

“Past winners are a testament to the Gerety juries: from this year’s Grand Prix, Festive for Burberry to the Moldy Whopper from 2020” says Lucía Ongay, Gerety Awards, Co-Founder. “Empowering work is also rewarded like Viva La Vulva, the Grand Prix winner from 2019, and it would be fair to say there is no jury more qualified to impress than Gerety’s.”

While rival award shows are still struggling to achieve gender parity in their jury line-ups; the Gerety Awards have once again successfully brought together some of the greatest creative talent in the world; who also happen to be women. The 2022 jury also included  Madonna Badger, Chief Creative Officer at Badger & Winters, Tanja Grubner, Global Marketing & Communications Director at Essity, Tara Ford, Chief Creative Officer at The Monkeys, Sydney & Board Member of the Advertising Council of Australia and Jung A Kim, Worldwide Executive Creative Director at Innocean Worldwide, among others.

The Gerety Awards will also be returning to the Creativebrief platform with two panel discussions to lift the lid on the most creatively compelling and effective work from across the globe.
