Before joining STACK in 2015 Ben founded Stephens Francis Whitson (SFW) and built a blue chip client roster over eight years, winning more than 50 awards for creativity and marketing effectiveness. In 2013 SFW was sold to the VCCP Partnership, and renamed VCCPme after its merger with Tree, the data consultancy.

Prior to this Ben was variously: MD of Rapier, for half of the time Campaign awarded it ‘Direct Agency of the Decade'; founder of TBWA Direct, and Joint CEO of Tequila UK.

Iain has been ECD at STACK for the last five years, and his hands-on style means he spends as much time creating and crafting award-winning work for brands like Nivea Men, PSA and The Trussell Trust (to name but a few) as he does presenting and pitching to clients.

Before STACK, Iain was Digital Creative Director at Wunderman London where he was creatively responsible for Orange, Land Rover and San Miguel. And before that, an Associated Creative Director and copywriter at Harrison Troughton Wunderman, working on Microsoft, Jaguar and Vodafone, and winning (amongst others) highly coveted D&AD and Cannes Awards.

James began his career above the line, working at DFGW, Partners BDDH and AMV, before moving to the direct side at Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel. After living in France for six months he went to iris for a short freelance stint, leaving four years later as Head of Planning to join The Communications Agency, then Rapier, as Planning Director.

James has led the strategy for brands including Alka Seltzer, Land Rover, first direct, The Balvenie, NatWest, American Express and Pizza Hut. Highlights include celebrating a D&AD Yellow Pencil for Land Rover and a DMA Grand Prix for first direct customer acquisition.

Rod joined STACK in 2010 after rising through the ranks at a variety of agencies including MBO, TeamSpirit & Twentysix. It was also something of a return home, having worked for CMW (later becoming STACK) in the early noughties.

He has worked across a range of clients and sectors including retail (Waitrose, Epson), finance (HSBC, Aviva), automotive (Peugeot, Porsche) winning a range of awards along the way (DMA, IPA).

Data Strategy Director

Caroline joined STACK in 2015. Her oft-quoted mantra in the agency is “actionable insight.” Working with brands like Peugeot Citroën and Chiltern Railways, she uncovers insights on customers and the way in which they buy that drives more engaging and effective communications.

Caroline started her life in data at analytics consultancy CACI, subsequently joining Dutch publisher, Wegener, to manage their data. She then moved agency side, working on Lloyds Banking Group at Rapier and O2, More Th>n and Saga Travel (amongst others) at VCCPme. Caroline is the data lead for the DMA Awards, and former Vice Chair of the Data Council.

Matt has been STACK's Technical Director since 2008 where his passion for technology, innovation and digital user experience has continually helped deliver numerous projects on-time and on-budget for the agency's clients.

Prior to joining STACK, Matt was Technical Director at Proximity London delivering complex digital projects for brands like the BBC, Royal Mail, EDF Energy and Eurostar.

Nicola started her agency career at iris working across a variety of award winning integrated accounts from COI and Network Rail to Coca Cola.

Since then Nicola has worked at a number of agencies including 23red, Publicis and PSONA building her experience on brands such as Bacardi, Mozilla, Sainsbury’s, Argos and The Balvenie working across a plethora of channels.

Dan is an award-winning creative with over 20 years experience working across all communication channels. Since joining the agency in 2004 he has devised digital, social, CRM and advertising campaigns for brands such as Peugeot, Citroen, Kelloggs, Cadbury, Nivea Men, McCain and The Scotsman.

Prior to joining STACK, Dan held a number of senior agency positions including London creative director of Brann Direct Marketing.

Robin brings over 20 years experience in creative services to STACK. He has worked at some of London’s top league agencies (Lowe Direct, Wunderman, VCCP) and has produced campaigns across many high profile brands including Ford, Kia, More Than, RBS, Govia, Aviva, Barclays, O2, QVC and House of Fraser, helping to win a plethora of awards along the way.

He sits at the heart of the agency, managing the resource and production functions and ensures that all campaigns are delivered on brief, on time and on budget.

Senior Planner

Caroline has 25 years experience in all communications channels. She started her career as a junior planner at a regional ad agency and has planned her way through specialist B2B agencies, OgilvyOne, Craik Jones, Claydon Heeley and KitcattNohr. 

She has worked on brands as diverse as  Dogs Trust, Macmillan, Orange, Bell’s whisky, Bentley and Hellmann’s  (winning DMAs for all of these). She joined Stack in November 2016 to work on PSA, Clinique and Mamas and Papas.

A passionate horticulturist she gardens (occasionally competitively ) and has written and illustrated ‘The Joy of Allotments’ - a wry look at the trials and tribulations of trying to grow her own food.
