Kevin Chesters
Kevin Chesters
Chief Strategy Officer

Kevin is Ogilvy UK's Chief Strategy Officer.

He graduated from Oxford University in 1994 with a degree in Modern History.

He has been in and around the UK ad industry for more than twenty years.

He started in account handling at OgilvyOne, and then switched to planning in 2000 after a short stint at O&M New York.

He’s been a senior planner at British Telecom, Saatchi & Saatchi & spent 5 years as Head of Planning at W+K London. He was then CSO at McGarry Bowen for 2 years.

He’s won lots of awards, both strategy and creative, for famous things like “Old Lions” for Carlsberg, “Pony” for and lots of lots of Honda things.

Twenty years on both sides of the fence means that there isn’t a sector he hasn’t delved deeply into in some way.

He’s married with two little boys – which he says helps explain the bags under his eyes and severe lack of disposable income.
