Brilliantly different for giffgaff


giffgaff has proved itself a disruptive presence on the mobile network scene. The past few years have seen it grow exponentially with it being crowned 2016’s best provider by Which? The giffgaff team wanted a print and radio campaign that would build on this reputation, spread the word about its unique offering and deliver a strong response.


We took our time to really understand the brand and created a new voice for giffgaff – quirky, brilliantly different and always clear about what they had to offer.

Visually, we developed a direction which would catch the reader’s eye. In a sea of colourful, photography-led adverts, we walked against the tide in true giffgaff style. Our bold, blunt, black-and-white spread was the perfect way to champion their unique selling points.

Through print and radio, our campaign encompassed everything from stark statements about the giffgaff offering and seasonal messaging for Christmas and Black Friday to our everyday inconveniences route – all within the brand’s quirky, distinctive tone.
