Supporting gifting for Father's Day

In the run up to Father's Day 2019, Aberlour wanted to support eRetailers by driving traffic around a gifting message.

eight&four developed a social campaign utilising their co-creator network that targeted whisky-loving parents with a message that Aberlour is the perfect gift for Father's Day.

The campaign focused on Facebook and Instagram and was split across two phases; awareness - using dynamically driven video creative and traffic - using link ads and carousel placements.

Efficient audience targeting was achieved to a demographic of male/female 25 to 54s against three audience segments; interest based (whisky lovers, craft interests and distilled drinks), page fan/lookalike, and a retargeting segment based on previous campaigns and consumption of awareness content.

Increase in CTR YoY at 1.47%
Decrease in CPC YoY at £0.40
Over target reach KPI at 5.04m impressions
