NBCUniversal is on the hunt for an agency to handle the digital and social media advertising for its Universal Channel in the UK.

The pitch is in its early stages and is being run through Creativebrief. As Campaign went to press, chemistry meetings had yet to be held.

NBCUniversal is looking for a creative agency to help attract a younger audience to the Universal Channel.

Although the appointed shop will focus on digital and social media activity, it will effectively be the Universal Channel’s lead creative agency in the UK. There is no incumbent on the account.

MediaCom handles NBC-Universal’s media planning and buying in the UK.

Universal is available on Sky and cable in the UK and mostly airs shows imported from the US, including Chicago Med, House MD and Law & Order.
