Citroen is in final negotiations with Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw about its direct marketing account.

Kitcatt Nohr competed against WWAV Rapp Collins, Iris and Carlson, the incumbent of 17 years, for the business. The agency is understood to be the only contender still in negotiations with Citroen. The shortlist was drawn up by creativebrief.

Kitcatt Nohr's task will be to handle all of the car marque's direct marketing, including the acquisition and retention of customers, as well as the promotion of all new models.

Citroen is also looking for a digital agency to redesign its website and handle ongoing online brand advertising.

The review follows last year's decision by Citroen's sister brand Peugeot to review its direct marketing account. The business was won by Clark McKay & Walpole after 14 years at EHS Brann.
