Creativebrief’s latest report ‘The Future of the Pitch’, which comes off the back of an industry-wide survey, features input from 50+ brands and agencies.
The survey, which is an updated version of a study that Creativebrief led back in 2018, uncovered that 92% of agency CEOs and 59% of brand CMOs disagree with the statement ‘the traditional pitch process is fit for purpose today.’
When pressed further and presented with the statement ‘the traditional pitch is in line with modern day expectations around responsible and ethical business practice’, 97% of agencies and 59% of brands disagreed (the latter up from 38% of brands in 2018).
The survey highlights the main issues of the current pitch process and presents potential and viable options for the industry going forward.
