Fortune Cookie holds on to Legal & General account

Insurance firm Legal & General has reappointed its incumbent digital agency Fortune Cookie to develop its online strategy following a competitive pitch.
The digital design and build agency fought off three others to win the project to redesign the financial brand's websites, including its main online presence. The pitch, which kicked off earlier this month (NMA 05.06.08), was handled by intermediary agency creativebrief.
Fortune Cookie will be tasked with developing Legal & General's online strategy, as well as a redesign of its websites in line with new branding due to roll out latter this year.
The financial firm is reviewing its media planning/buying account too, which is held by Carat.
legalandgeneral.com gained 124,000 unique users in May 2008, according to Nielsen Online.
