Insurance firm Legal & General is seeking a digital agency as it looks to revamp its online presence.
Legal & General is in talks with four agencies, including incumbent Fortune Cookie, to develop its strategy and redesign its websites.
The financial brand will begin working with the new agency by July. Among the first projects the agency will undertake is a complete redesign of all Legal & General websites, such as its main presence and various campaign sites, which it aims to complete by October 2008.
Legal & General, which offers a range of financial services such as investments, pensions and insurance, is set to rebrand in 2009 and intends to develop a stronger online presence in the competitive financial services market.
The pitch is being handled by intermediary creativebrief.
In February Legal & General kicked off a review of its media planning / buying account, which is currently held by Carat.
Legal & General spent £8.8m across all media, including online, from May 2007 to April 2008, according to figures from Nielsen Media Research.
