Landmine clearance charity Adopt-A-Minefield (AAM) has teamed up with Canadian sculptor Blake Ward in a bid to boost awareness of its work and raise funds.

The sculptor – known as Blake – has hired Brando to promote November exhibition Fragments.

Brando managing partner Paul Lucas said the campaign to promote the exhibition – at an as yet unnamed London venue – would involve the web, viral marketing, experiential comms and media relations.

The sculptor visited Vietnam in the 1970s and the destruction he saw inspired him to help raise awareness of the social problems caused by landmines.

Blake hopes to raise more than £1m from Fragments, which will comprise 20 bronze sculptures. The proceeds will go to AAM’s UK partner the No More Landmines Trust.

Blake hired Brando after a pitch through matchmaker creativebrief.
