Vauxhall has hired Swordfish to handle its UK partnership marketing business, which is believed to be worth £2m.
The appointment follows a four-way pitch handled by creativebrief. The agency has been tasked with securing a range of brand partners and overseeing subsequent initiatives to cross-promote the products.
Vauxhall has worked with several brands in the past, including fashion retailer Oasis on a short-term basis.
It also has a sponsorship deal in place with Guinness Premiership rugby champions Leicester Tigers as the club's official vehicle supplier. The marque, which has been associated with the rugby union side since 1999, is also a previous shirt sponsor.
