BITE LIVE 2019: Breaking stereotypes, making culture

9:10am – KEYNOTE: Caroline Criado Perez

Journalist, award-winning feminist campaigner and the author of Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men, Caroline Criado Perez will lift the lid on the impact of data bias across the creative industries.

9:45am – INTERVIEW: Havas London & Ella’s Kitchen

Xav Rees, the CEO of Havas London will be interviewed alongside Mark Cuddigan, CEO of Ella’s Kitchen to explore how they united the pursuit of both purpose and profit to achieve B Corporation status.

10:10am – PANEL: Stereotype Smashers

Chaired by BITE’s Managing Editor Nicola Kemp, the Stereotype Smashers panel will look at those progressive brands driving a new era of creativity. It will discuss how brands can claim to use creativity to 'make culture' if they don't reflect it including a focus on the creatives pushing for greater representation behind the scenes.

11:25am – INTERVIEW: How Guinness smashed stereotypes in women's rugby and beyond

Niall McKee, Head of Guinness Stout Europe at Diageo, Nick Andrew, Deputy Head of Account Management, AMV BBDO and Alaina Crystal, Deputy Head of Strategy at AMV BBDO discuss how their 'Made of more' campaign has been smashing stereotypes in women's rugby and beyond. 

11:50am - PANEL: Bridging the Integrity Gap: a new era of purpose-driven partnerships

Simon Gunning, CEO of CALM will be moderating a panel on how brands can balance creativity, commerciality and integrity. He’ll be joined by Rebecca Fennelly, Head of Brand & Comms at JOE.co.uk, Cherie Cunningham, Head of Marketing at UKTV, Mat Goff, CEO of adam&eveDDB, and Jim Shearer, Marketing Director at Molson Coors and more.
