On the Beach enlists Paddy McGuinness as the ultimate holiday rep

McGuinness will star in an array of cheeky digital videos and highlight the benefits of booking a holiday with On the Beach.

Off the back of the success of On the Beach’s ‘Booking geniuses’ campaign starring Paddy McGuinness, the brand has enlisted the star to create a range of online, social and brand app videos.

Created by Quiet Storm, a new series of cheeky digital videos brings McGuinness' trademark banter to short form. 

Acting as the ultimate holiday rep, the videos see McGuinness behind the desk of a travel agent, acting to ensure that customers of On the Beach book the best deals. 

In his casual summer suit, the short iterations see McGuinness share the perks designed for “Smart Bookers” with his signature cheeky charm. From free airport lounges to personalised weather reports, On the Beach aims to ensure that customers are excited for their holidays from the booking process onward.

The digital campaign is the first time McGuinness will represent On the Beach outside of TV and OOH advertising. The ‘booking geniuses’ campaign made a splash with audiences last year after the ASA received over 100 filed official complaints due to swearing, to which McGuinness was cleared.

In this second year of working with On the Beach, McGuinness will be integrated further across the brand and customer journey into a range of touchpoints, including emails and booking forms.
