With the festive period fast approaching Rocco Forte Hotels has created an exclusive festive experience which allows travellers to celebrate the holidays in two iconic British cities.

The experience begins with a magical Christmas in London followed by a traditional Scottish Hogmanay celebration on New Year’s Eve in the Scottish capital. Guests will be able to enjoy stays at both Brown’s Hotel in London and The Balmoral in Edinburgh.

Beginning in London travellers will enjoy a two-night stay at Brown’s Hotel complete with a box of truffles and a shopping experience in Charbonnel’s original Bond Street shop. The hotel has announced a festive partnership with Britain’s first chocolatier, Charbonnel et Walker, so guests will be greeted with chocolates galore, red ribbons and twinkling fairy lights.

Guests are encouraged to explore the wintery sights of Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Winter Wonderland, before indulging in an Afternoon Tea menu at Brown’s Hotel.

After celebrating Christmas in London, guests can board the train to Edinburgh where they can bring in the new year with Edinburgh’s world-famous Hogmanay. After a train ride up to the historic city, guests will be able to stay in the iconic Balmoral Hotel, but not without first enjoying a flask of The Macallan whisky alongside a selection of artisan delicacies to sample.

Once arriving in Waverly Station, guests can make the short 30-second journey to The Balmoral Hotel ready to bring in the new year with a two night stay complete with a delicious breakfast of favourites such as Balmoral cured smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, served at Brasserie Prince or enjoyed in the comfort of the room.

The stay in Edinburgh also includes a black-tie evening on New Year’s Eve. The countdown to midnight will be paired with lively music, traditional Scottish bagpipes and entertainment and a five-course dinner, where each course is carefully paired with wines chosen by a Sommelier. The experience concludes with the hotel lit up by the fireworks from the display at Edinburgh Castle.

As consumers ready to make the most of the holidays Rocco Forte Hotels’ luxury festive experience maximises on the unique qualities of its hotels in two idyllic capital cities, providing guests with an unforgettable backdrop for memories that will last a lifetime.
