Chances are over the last few months or maybe even years you’ve uttered something along the lines of, I want to shop more sustainably/use less plastic/change my behaviour. But, I just don’t know where to start. Enter DoneGood, the Chrome extension that points online shoppers in the direction of a sustainable alternatives.

DoneGood are for the underdogs, the companies who have set out to prove that you can have success and sustainability. The tech start-up hopes that by enabling customers to make more sustainable decisions and pointing them towards smaller brands, bigger corporations will have to change the way they operate.

Simply download the extension and, when you shop on Google, Amazon or other popular sites, DoneGood will point you in the direction of an alternative, more ethical option.

In the UK, the annual amount of waste produced by a household is more than a tonne, which equates to around 31 million tonnes across the UK every, single year. This is waste that sits in landfill, makes its way into the oceans and is rarely recycled back into the manufacturing process. But, change your shopping habits and eventually, brands will have to accommodate that shift into their business. DoneGood shows us where we can start.

DoneGood is currently in beta and available in the US only. Visit their website to find out more.
