Tennent’s dreams of Scotland’s World Cup
The campaign celebrates Scotland’s participation in the men’s World Cup group stage for the first time in 28 years.
The brands have collaborated on limited edition ‘stain-worthy’ t-shirts.
Born from the insight that Gen Z is the messiest generation and proud of it, Uber Eats has teamed up with Rosa’s Thai to create limited edition ‘stain-worthy’ t-shirts.
The t-shirts have been designed to celebrate messy eaters and the meals ‘worth making a mess for.’
New research commissioned by Uber Eats and Rosa’s Thai revealed that Gen Z is the messiest generation, with almost two-thirds (64%) admitting they’ve worn food stains in public. White 62% shared that they’ve ruined a brand new outfit within minutes of buying it. Three in four Gen Z (74%) have spilled food or drink at a big event, from weddings to first dates, compared to just 32% of Boomers.
The evening meal is the most high-risk for spills, while t-shirts, shirts and blouses, and jumpers are the most likely items to be ruined by food or drink, with 15% of participants also liable to destroy a pair of trousers.
Celebrating the generation proud to enjoy their food and unafraid to spill, Uber Eats and Rosa’s Thai’s new limited edition t-shirt collection has been designed in collaboration with illustrator Justine Jossart. Each shirt features a Rosa’s Red Hot Thai Classic from the rich, creamy Khao Soi to the fiery Tom Yum Noodle Soup.
With 30% of respondents declaring November as official ‘soup season’, with the same number claiming it’s the food most likely to cause stains, the t-shirt launch perfectly coincides with the cosy season and its messy food offerings.
“At Rosa’s, we say embrace the mess! A splash or two is a sign of a great meal. Our exclusive Uber Eats bundle celebrates the spills and stains that come with truly great Thai comfort food,” says Saiphin Moore, Founder of Rosa’s Thai.
A limited edition run of shirts will be available when ordering a Red Hot Thai Classics bundle via Uber Eats at selected Rosa’s restaurants. These include Norwich, Edinburgh, York, Liverpool, Exeter, Greenwich, Hackney and Tooting. PR is being handled by Hope and Glory.
With 41% of Brits saying they’re more likely to stain clothing when eating at home, the collaboration between Uber Eats and Rosa’s Thai empowers eaters to fully enjoy their food in their own way.
Combining food and fashion, the partnership celebrates Gen Z with cultural insight.
