Last week, the most viewed piece of new work on the website was the ‘Mr.Men cover image generator’ for Beefeater Restaurants by Engage Interactive.

Engage has launched a bespoke Facebook application generating brand awareness for Beefeater Grill. The app allows users to create their own family portraits using the Mr Men and Little Miss characters to represent their relatives. Users are then given the image as a download to display on their Facebook profiles.

Since launching on the 13th October the app has already created over 350,000 portraits, generating an average of 3 creations per minute. Perhaps unsurprisingly the most commonly selected characters so far are Little Miss Chatterbox and Mr Grumpy, with the average family portrait containing four characters.

The app will run until mid 2014 with users who opt-in given the chance to win a framed copy of their portrait signed by the Mr Men and Little Miss illustrator, Adam Hargreaves. So far 90,000 people have changed their cover photo to a Family Portrait and 125,000 people have shared their creations on Facebook.Beefeater Mr.Men by Engage

Head of Digital Marketing at Engage Interactive, Dom Mernock said “We wanted to create an experience for Beefeater customers which would generate unique and shareable content. The Family Portraits app gives us just that, the reaction to it has been incredible. Users are generating thousands of unique portraits each day. We can’t wait to see the winning portraits brought to life”
