About this event

Join Missouri Creative and a select group of senior marketers for the latest in our series of exclusive 'Serious Business of Pleasure' roundtables.

This time we'll be discussing 'The Principles of Pleasure' in a session co-hosted by creative scientist Katherine Templar-Lewis, exploring how neuroscience and psychology can help brands turn consumers' desire for pleasurable experiences into competitive advantage.

Katherine is an interdisciplinary human and cognitive scientist. She's an expert in neuroscience and behavioural psychology, focused on change and real-world applications, and is co-founder of the first female-led neuroaesthetics studio and Lab, Kinda Studios, whose work seeks to translate neuroscience into the real world through creative collaborations.

What we'll be discussing:

1. The Pleasure Principles

How core pleasure principles and neuroaesthetics can inspire and validate innovation and brand design choices.

2.Activating the Pleasure Principles

Using sensory cues and anticipation to build emotional resonance across the customer journey.

3. Unconscious Desires

Reducing friction to shift the balance from functional to emotional engagement, creating more visceral experiences.
