About

Jessica Tamsedge was appointed UK CEO at Dentsu Creative in early 2023 with a remit to develop a thriving common culture and help steer the business forward on its mission to transform brands and businesses through the power of Modern Creativity. Jessica also works closely in partnership with the wider dentsu team in media and CXM in delivering scaled world class solutions to clients. Prior to joining Dentsu Creative, Jessica was Chief Client Officer for McCann, Europe & UK, responsible for driving growth for clients’ businesses by helping their brands earn their meaningful role in people’s lives. Jessica takes a passionate and active role in promoting positive change in the marketing industry. She sits on the UK’s IPA Council and the Industry Advisory Panel to the Advertising Standards Authority, offering a perspective on how to uphold industry regulation in a way that is both fair and progressive. Jessica is also a WACL and NABS 100 member, mentoring diverse talent from across the industry.

Shuntaro Shimizu is the Executive Director of Sustainability Development Office at Dentsu Group Inc. With a life-long career at dentsu, he has had many leadership roles including the Head of dentsu Japan Sustainability Development Office, Head of the Shanghai Office, and Head of the IT Division. He has rich experience with Campaign Planning, Account Management, and Corporate Functions including HR and IT. For the past six years, he has led internal programmes on diversity, equity, and inclusion with a focus on LGBTQ+. His new role in sustainability includes overseeing the Group’s climate action commitments, which included recently launching a new ‘Decarbonization Initiative for Marketing’, an industry collaboration with the aim to visualize and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in supply chains related to marketing communications in Japan. He is also working to develop an internal education programme in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership, where he recently completed an online course on Sustainable Marketing. He has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
