The latest Bloom event, with all proceeds going to Women’s Aid, will delve into dealing with conflict in the workplace
The world doesn’t need fewer arguments, it needs better arguments. This is the thinking behind the Bloom event designed to lift the lid on how to deal with conflict, or stop avoiding conflict altogether.
The event is based on the premise that when we all agree - or pretend to agree - particularly in our professional lives it can become harder to progress. For disagreement, and being comfortable with the discomfort that disagreement brings - can drive incredible ideas and creative thinking, when handled in the right way.
A lively panel discussion will include Lydia Amoah, award-winning business coach and Britain’s leading authority on diversity, inclusion and equity. Amy Kean, Founder of creativity and culture company Six Things Impossible and Anil Lamba, Senior Industry Director for automotive clients at Teads. The discussion will be hosted by Bloom’s Chief Operating Officer Katie Grosvenor.
The panel will explore and share real life experiences of disagreement in the workplace, as well as sharing tips on how to not take conflict personally and avoid cancelling your challenges.
Like all Bloom events the panel will focus on honest and tangible changes you can make in your every day life. With The Clash promising to give you tips to better handle and approach conflict in the workplace. A tangible approach rooted in the network’s ‘Everyday Actions’ ethos to make the industry a more inclusive place for all and to support women to thrive in their creative careers.
The event takes place on Tuesday 8th June from 12pm and tickets are available here.
