Despite being the market-leading cash-back site, there were still people who hadn’t discovered they could save money with TopCashBack. Even those who were signed up would sometimes forget to shop through them. We needed to get TopCashBack top of mind so people felt the benefits.
Firestarter Idea
Our target market was making a number of transactions each day, and often when on the go and distracted by other things. We needed to give people a friendly reminder that with TopCashBack there is always a simple way to save money.
Idea
Think TopCashback when you shop. A friendly hummingbird is always by your side when you’re shopping online, to give you the helpful nudge you need to shop through TopCashBack and save some money.
Results
The campaign brought TopCashBack to people’s attention. It was the most successful campaign in their history for brand saliency and over 25% of people who heard the radio ad went on to use TopCashBack.
