Chupa Chups is uncomplicated fun – turning everyday moments into a game. And that game is about to get a lot stranger.

Two iconic worlds collide as Chupa Chups partners with Stranger Things - and it’s as deliciously exciting as it sounds. This is more than a collaboration; it’s a cultural moment.

The Campaign Roll-out

We needed to get our Chupa Chups x Stranger Things collab on the radar of our target audience (across Europe) by riding the wave of the ā€˜Stranger Things’ global buzz, ahead of the final season launch, with 5 key phases:

  • HYPE: Teasing what’s coming with mysterious social hooks.
  • DROP: The packs are here, time to showcase them in all their glory.
  • BUILD: Keeping momentum by celebrating product in people’s hands.
  • BUZZ: Season 5 is here and we’re joining people where they are watching the show!

Keeping a social-first lens

Content should feel native to each platform and be visually bold, made for swiping, tapping or sharing.Ā To get in algorithms we need a mix of lo-fi, creator-led and distinctive brand content. The power of the hook is key - stopping thumbs by feeling at home on our audience’s FYPs.
