Alternaleaf taps Jordan Stephens for new campaign

The new campaign from the Corner promotes the UK’s leading medical cannabis clinic through spoken word poetry.

Medical cannabis clinic Alternaleaf has launched an above the line advertising campaign starring Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks. 

The campaign centres around a spoken word piece called ‘The Alternative Path’ written and performed by Stephens, which explores nature's role in supporting men's mental health. Filmed in a field in London, the piece is now live. 

The campaign aims to spark more conversation about medical cannabis in the UK, raising awareness, breaking down stigma, and highlighting that education is the root of understanding.  

Jordan Stephens was seen by the team as the perfect fit as spokesperson for Alternaleaf. He toured with Rizzle Kicks this summer, is currently performing on the West End stage, and last year released the Sunday Times best-selling book, ‘Addiction, Drugs, Heartbreak and Dogs’. The mental health advocate has been open about his struggles, including being diagnosed with ADHD twice. Stephens has become a customer of Alternaleaf and will talk about his experience of the process later this year. 

Neil Simpson, CEO of The Corner London, said: "Alternaleaf is leading the rapidly growing medical cannabis sector, because it can be used as a natural treatment for a wide variety of conditions. The fact that surveys show most NHS doctors would consider prescribing it speaks volumes." 

Richard Guest, General Manager at Alternaleaf, shared that the campaign is already showing very positive results.
